The Musician Legal App is a collaborative platform designed to eliminate the ambiguity, disputes, and legal risks that arise from informal royalty and equity agreements between musicians and creative collaborators. It provides a structured, democratic, and legally enforceable process for forming projects, negotiating stake distributions, and finalizing binding agreements.
Musicians can create projects such as songs, albums, or band ventures, invite collaborators, assign initial stake percentages, and participate in a structured proposal and response negotiation cycle. Every version of a proposal is tracked, each member's response is recorded, and the system automatically approves agreements only when unanimous consensus is reached.
DeX delivered this complex requirement, spanning JWT secured authentication, project lifecycle management, democratic proposal workflows, e-signature collection, and immutable PDF agreement generation, as a fully functional mobile-first production application built on Flutter and FastAPI.
